Came in on a Sunday, service was great, very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Food was absolutely delicious, couldn’t fault it! Really recommend the lamb tikka rogan Josh, the lamb was so tender and curry was fresh, hot and really flavoursome. Will definitely be returning
Just the best curry I've had in years! So good I went back again a few days later. I used to live in thexsame town and Rayleigh Spicy one if my local haunts. I'd forgotten how amazing the food was. Staff super friendly too.

Group of us enjoyed the Thali evening here on Mondays. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was fantastic. The Thali consisted of a mini lamb dansak, mini chicken masala and a mini vegetable jalfrezi, naan bread and rice. There was plenty of food without any extra sides needed. The restaurant itself is fairly small and intimate, not that many tables so I'd suggest booking especially if you're a group larger than 4. It's somewhat dated but authentic and has evidently been a part of Rayleigh highstreet for many years. Highly recommend!
Haven't been for ages, but Shah and the team were as fantastic as ever. Brilliant food great atmosphere and sensible prices. We won't leave it so long next time!
